Lambeth LEA and UK DfES

Description:
tc was the DfES "London Challenge" sponsored programme manager for Lambeth LEA’s Secondary Education Strategy and Programme. This was a complex programme that incorporated substantial capital expenditure in the schools infrastructure, substantial change management and complex stakeholder management. We were tasked with developing Lambeth's Secondary Education strategy in conjunction with the LEA's educational officers - and kick-starting a programme to deliver it.

Throughout the programme the DfES was keen that tc achieved knowledge transfer – through embedding programme management expertise in the Borough for the future.

Outcome:
Lambeth had a Secondary Education strategy! In addition, it was well positioned to achieve substantial funding from the DfES though the Building Schools for the Future programme.
